I have no idea why the time on yahoo is screwed up. All my posts to lists are 5 hours ahead of when I actually send them. And when I wrote my last blog post, I certainly did NOT write it at 2:30 in the freakin morning! Right now it's a few minutes after 6am. It's not a time zone thing, because this computer is set for Eastern. Now for the GREAT news...
We are under a Winter Storm Advisory til 9am. Already have about an inch of snow, and it's calling for a wintery mix of sleet. YIPPEE! Great driving for the 20 minutes up & down winding roads 0n my way to work this morning. When my mom went to work this morning, she let us know the roads are just wet right now. But it *is* only 32 degree's out. Plus, she's driving Mike's Monster Truck. Don't ask.. lol. So I'm driving her van, which she told me to be careful, as it doesn't have great traction. OY!
This is the start of week 2 at the store, and I'm doing pretty good. I'm working the cooler, as Dave had off yesterday & today. Which I don't mind, as I really like working in the cooler. I actually prefer it over the case lots. But I'm usually only suppose to do the cooler on Wednesday, Dave's usual day off. We're getting a butt-load of produce in today, and I'll be very very busy all day long! But anyhoo's.. They tried to train me on the freezer last Thursday. OMMFG! I really thought I could handle it - but I couldn't. For one, I had no idea they were going to put me in there, so I didn't wear any long johns, like I am now. You'd think from years of being outside for hours on end inspecting & helping to load cars in freezing weather (sometimes in snow & ice storms) would prepare me for a simple freezer. HELL NO! It was like the air was concentrated somehow.. it's hard to explain.. it was so cold, you didn't even see your breath. It has to be that way, as that's where they keep the ice cream & all the other frozen food. Hopefully, they wont put me back in there!
Well, anyhoo's.. Linda.. Deborah.. LOL.. time for me to get dressed, and go to the bathroom one more time. Because if I don't & I slide.. I will have a mess in my pants.

I hope you made it to work okay today. We have the same winter advisory in effect here.
It's my birthday today. Bob took the day off work. We're heading to Erie in a little while. I hope that the roads aren't bad! We're going to Erie for breakfast. Then we are going to hit two casinos. We each have $30 to play the slots.

The freezer is so bad cause it's 'canned' air...there's no moisture in it and it like sucks the moisture from your lungs. Not the place I'd want to spend my days! The 'fridge' I could handle though! =D
The roads were not too bad that morning. It was the NEXT day that they were alot worse & I slid a few times!! Happy belated birthday, Linda!! Hope you & Bob got lucky in the casino! Or at least after you were done.. lol. Yeah, they can SO keep the freezer! I was assigned my own isle on the day I don't work the cooler. So now I'm in charge of the cleaning isle! Yay! Lol! Thank god I wasn't given the candy isle!!!
